About the photographer...
Hi! My name’s Emily Briggs. I’m a photographer living in Doylestown PA and working in Bucks County, Philadelphia, and New York City. Photography is a huge passion of mine and I love sharing it with others to help them achieve their dreams, remember a fantastic day, and make a great impression. I photograph portraits for everyone from actors to business owners to families, help Instagrammers increase their visibility online with high quality images, and capture important events like weddings, engagements, parties, and concerts.
I started out as a fine artist and quickly realized the camera is as powerful a creative tool as any brush or pencil. I always approach photoshoots the way I would a painting, asking the question, “What is unique and beautiful about my subject and how do I capture that?” I always want headshots to convey a person's best qualities, engagement photos to show the love between two people, and event shots to capture the energy and memory of a day you never want to forget.
